Aunt Ruth, you loved and cared for so many family members over the years - and not just your own but your sisters and brothers when in need as well. Your strength and grit getting through tough times, coupled with your warmth and tenderness, touched all of us in one way or another. I’m so thankful to have had you in my life all these years… for your guidance, your encouragement, your examples and your love. It is those feelings that will stay with me in loving memory of you. To my dear friend, Ruth Ann. I met your mother way back when we first went to the Spaghetti dinner at the Amvets where Frank bartended. During the past few years since I've moved to Lyndhurst, I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with her and Frank taking them to doctor appointments, or hospitals. Your Mom and I spent time reminiscing on the years gone by while we frequented a diner or restaurant. We became close as I realized she was such a warm, loving person. She told me many stories about her youth and her family. I loved bringing her my biscotti during the holidays and will surely miss her. I'm so glad I got to see her Sunday afternoon as I knew it would probably be for the last time. I know she is out of pain now and basking in God's heaven. She was so proud of you Ruth and the mother and grandmother you have grown to be. You were her world and she told me often how much she loved you. Keep her in your memories as it will help you get through the rough times. Your friend, Barb Sweetman
