Obituary of Henry L. Garofalo

Garofalo, Henry L., 79,  of Lyndhurst, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Mr. Garofalo was born in Newark, NJ and was a life long resident of Lyndhurst.  He was the son of the late Henry and Carmella (Festa) Garofalo.  Henry had served in the US National Guard from 1965 to 1971 .  He was a Produce Manager for Inserra ShopRite of Lyndhurst for 55 years, retiring in 2015.  Henry will always be remembered for being an avid hunter, fisherman, and he loved archery with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife.  He enjoyed going on many hunting trips throughout his life.  Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jean (nee Siculietano) Garofalo, by his sisters, Patricia Szamborski, Camille Croteau and her husband, Wilfred and Barbara Reseter, by his sisters-in-law, Angel Styles, Lynda Cafone, and Patricia Siculietano, by his brother-in-law, Gary Siculietano, and by many nieces and nephews.
