Obituary of Rocco J. Conzo

Conzo, Rocco J., 84, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, June 28, 2024.  Mr. Conzo was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst and proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 - 1964.  Rocco worked for Sika Corporation in Lyndhurst for over 25 years, retiring in 2004.  He was a passionate sports fan, specifically of the New York Giants, and he loved sitting outside enjoying a cigar.  Rocco was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, June K. Conzo (nee Cole) in 2023 and by his dear son, Michael R. Conzo in 2022.  He is survived by his loving daughter, Michelle Braffa and her husband, John, by his cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas and his wife, Nicole, Sean, Steven, Gabrielle and her husband, DJ, and Kristina, by his sister, Diane Cichino and her husband, Pat, and by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, July 6 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.  You may express your condolences to Rocco's family by using our tribute wall.
