Morrone, Carmine A. "Sonny", 85, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Mr. Morrone was born in and was a life long resident of Lyndhurst. He was a Navy Veteran 1945-1946. Mr. Morrone was Co-Owner & Machinist for Hive Manufacturing, Carlstadt for over 50 years before he retired in 2003. Carmine is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria (nee De Santis) Morrone, by his loving daughters, Debbie Afflitto & her husband, Allen, Kathy Papa-Mascolo & her husband, Vinny and Rosemary Peerson, by his dear grandchildren, Kristen Kierney, Jeffrey Afflitto, Philip Mascolo and Victoria Peerson and by his sister, Rose Aurigemma. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9:30AM at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association, 1 Union Street Ste. 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or Lyndhurst Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 471, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
